With temperatures over 40 degrees in Dubai there’s not much sitting in the garden these days... Perfect time though to get the garden winter ready!
I recently purchased this colorful oil cloth on a trip to Brisbane, Australia. As we don’t have any garden pillows yet I thought they would be perfect to complement our exotic garden...
I had never actually worked with oil cloth before and found it amazingly easy. Apart from the special leather needle for the sewing machine it’s as easy if not easier than normal fabric.
I made the pillows 50cmx50cm as the print on the cloth is quite big and choose to use the flowers for the front side and the polka dots for the back side.
Now counting down to winter time...
