Pregnancy and beyond jumpsuit
My darling husband gave me this beautiful Hatch collection jumpsuit for my birthday last April. Hatch collection have a trendy selection of clothes for pregnant and not so pregnant fashionistas. I received the silk jumper in mint green. I totally love it!

The jumpsuit is so comfortable it inspired me to make my own version. As the pattern basically only exist out of 2 pieces it was pretty simple to copy. I choose a coral lightweight cotton, for comfort as well as easy maintenance. The front opens with a little hook and the jumpsuit is large enough around the tummy to be worn throughout pregnancy. Afterwards I think it might look nice with a belt...

Strawberry fantasy
Moschino has always been one of my favorite brands. I love the way their designs are very creative, fun and unusual all at ones.
When I saw a picture of this dress I went completely bonkers... This dress just made me crave summer time, love and holidays all at once.
So I attempted my own version of this fruitilicious baby doll dress.
I choose Citronille's Meg dress.
I made some minor changes to the pattern and shortened the sleeves slightly. For the fabric I used some left over cotton I found in my mum's stash.
Firstly I made the bow on the front in felt as I thought it would look very strawberry-ish. However, it made the dress look more like a costume than a dress so I remade it in plain cotton.
Summer, here I come!

Erickson Beamon
You might have heard of Detroit based design duo Erickson Beamon. These extremely talented accessory designers have created a very unique collection of costume jewellery, using swarovski and colorful stones.
Apparently their talent doesn't just stop there... They just came up with an amazing collection of 1920's inspired clothing line.
Being a great fan of the decadent 1920's fashion I've completely fallen in love with their new line.
Definitely some food for inspiration...
